Future Bodies

An Unlimited Theatre and HOME co-production created by Unlimited and RashDash

The technology of the future is being developed by very intelligent / very well funded people who believe that death is just a technical glitch and immortality is genuinely possible.

The human being is being upgraded. This is terrifying and exciting and it's coming, whether we like it or not.

Working with Unlimited Theatre and HOME in Manchester we imagine the implications of real world, leading edge developments in human enhancement technologies, having talked to leading scientists and researchers in the fields of brain implants, smart drugs and artificial intelligence. The show smashes together science, fact and fiction with words, music and movement to explore what our bodies are now and what they will become.

The show is made by people who are sceptical and afraid and people who are thrilled and excited by this technology.
