The Frenzy

It begins quietly. They smile, shake hands, then sit, legs crossed. Beat.
The music starts.
Nails turn to talons, trees are torn up by the roots. Wild, fierce women dance relentlessly, furiously, in ecstasy.
The music stops. All is as it was, and yet everything has changed.
Inspired by Euripides’ The Bacchae, RashDash unleash a euphoric, ferocious frenzy on the streets.
An outdoor show commissioned by Lyric Hammersmith, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, Imagine Watford and Latitude.
